Tone of Voice
What it is
This step extracts a Tone of Voice (ToV) Print from samples of your writing. Every article, post, and comment generated afterwards is flavoured with that print.
When you’d use it
Always run this step. Without it, generated content sounds like a generic LLM.
Step-by-step
- Paste or upload 3–6 samples — past LinkedIn posts, blog excerpts, or emails work well.
- Click Analyse. ProPresence pulls out:
- Tone descriptors (e.g. analytical, reflective, punchy)
- Vocabulary and sentence-structure preferences
- Narrative tendencies (anecdotes, analogies, lists)
- Review the editable ToV Print. Tweak any descriptor that feels off.
- Save and continue.
Tips & gotchas
- Use samples that reflect how you want to sound — not throwaway DMs.
- You can edit your ToV later under Account → Tone of Voice.
- Organizations have their own separate ToV — set that up under Organizations → Tone of Voice.
