Generating Articles

Generating articles

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Articles → New article.
  2. Fill in the Brief Builder:
  3. Topic + your perspective (one sentence each).
  4. Optional background URL or related articles.
  5. Pick a structure (trend-insight, case-study, myth-busting, etc.).
  6. Watch the Prompt Quality Score — the higher the score, the better the draft. Tweak the brief if it’s red.
  7. Click Generate. Drafts run 700–1500 words and use HTML formatting (<h2>, <p>, lists).
  8. Review in the rich-text editor. Use Enrich to pull in stats and quotes via Perplexity.
  9. Save → push to Posts queue, schedule, or publish.

Tips & gotchas

  • Articles are stored as HTML, not Markdown.
  • Sources appear inline as links plus a Sources section at the end. ProPresence validates each link before saving.
  • Switch to Brand context before generating if the article is for a company page — the org’s ToV will be used.
